Welcome to Twigs and Twist, LLC

Thank you for creating with us in 2011!  We are looking forward to spending time with you in 2012.  If you haven't been in lately, Twigs and Twist has two new employees, Lycee and Carly.  They both bring new and exciting ideas and talents to make your New Year a creative one.  Drop-in and give them a warm welcome. 

Thank you to all who participated in Holiday Open House designing and sewing up pockets for the Good Sumaritan Home.  We were able to donate 45 pockets stuffed with goodies for the residents who live there.  These handmade pockets brought a special touch to their holiday.  A big thanks to Susie for helping with the event and distributing the pockets.  

Join us and sew on Thursday evenings.  Classes are now hosted from 6-7:30 pm.  We will offer simple sew projects.  These classes are great for beginners and those who want to learn new sewing techniques. During this time, you may also drop-in and just sit and sew.  This is a great time to get a helpful boost finishing one of last year's unfinished projects or create your Project Runway Recreated! entry.  

We also have a new Teen Sew group that will meet every other Tuesday starting on January 17th.  This group is for 12 years and above or with instructors approval.  See us or class calendar for list of scheduled projects.

Project Runway Recreated! is our signature event of the year.  You can enter an arts and crafts piece that is made up of 75% recycled items into our contest.  Choose from one of five categories: quilts, home decor, garments, accessories, and kid creations.  Entry deadline is Feb. 17th.  See store for details and entry forms.  There will be great fun and prizes.  If you are not wanting to enter a piece, come help judge for our people's choice award.
