Much of my work and creativity is inspired by nature. Living in Idaho helps this process greatly. Here there is so much to see and take in. I was debating if I should add pictures of animals, plants, and landscape to Twigs and Twist's website wondering if it was professional or not. Its good to be back on line. This past month my computer crashed as did 3 of my sewing machines. When these guys are out of commission, one realizes how much they have become an intergral part of our lives for better or worse.

One of the most rewarding aspects of owning your own store is meeting kind people who are willing to step beyond the every day grind and routine of their lives. Kay is one of these people. I would like to thank her for unselfishly helping me out with a last minute project.

Thanks to Sharon for coming in and inspiring all of us at her book signing, Fabric of the Minds Eye. She brought in several samples of her work. They were incredible. Sharon definitely has the ability to encourage people to step beyond the box and believe in youself. It was a treat to have her visit. For all those who have followed her work, she is planning a fall class with Twigs and Twist. Info will be published on our calendar as soon as dates are...

Thanks to all who helped to make Twigs and Twist's grand opening a success. Creative juices where over flowing in all the classes and many beautiful crafts where made. A special thanks the instructor's who took time out to teach - Erin, Cara, Britiney, Val and Julie. I am looking forward to many more creations together. Gretel
